The 2022 Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei International Investment and Trade Fair themed “Coordinated Development Towards a Shared Future” opened online on November 27, with a focus on the key areas and key points in Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei coordinated development. An extensive of forums, seminars, and summits will be held online to further deepen the coordinated development in Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region until December 7.
To promote the coordinated development in Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region, develop a future-oriented capital economic circle, and build a Beijing-centered world-class urban agglomeration, CCPIT Sub-councils in Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei jointly signed the Memorandum of Cooperation on Promoting Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Coordinated Development through Trade in December 2014, which established a cooperative mechanism for coordinated development of trade and investment. Under this mechanism, the three sub-councils hold the Fair in rotation every year. Having secured a success for seven years consecutively, the Fair has gradually transformed into a vital international platform for expanding the opening up in this region for broader international exchanges and cooperation and implementing the coordinated development strategy.
Chaired by CCPIT Beijing this year, the Fair has set up a virtual conference room for online metaverse, where the metaverse is broadcast live to audience all over the world with fascinating scenes and real-time interaction, intriguing merchants’ and guests’ interests. Amid the events, the 2022 Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei International Commercial Law Forum will focus on how to give full play to the role of mediation in resolving diversified commercial disputes, discuss the construction of China’s commercial mediation system and the cooperation in commercial mediation between Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei under Singapore Convention on Mediation, share the cases of commercial mediation overseas, and look into the status quo and future opportunities and challenges of commercial mediation in China.
Centering on the high-quality development of logistics industry under the new development concept, the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei High-Quality Development Conference on Logistics and Supply Chain will discuss the development trend of logistics in China, the positioning of coordinated development of logistics and supply chain in Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region, the status quo of air freight development at home and abroad, and the way forward for Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei air freight, and promote Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei logistics projects. The Summit on Empowering Animation and Game IP through Metaverse and Non-Fungible Token will look into the value interaction between animation and game IP and non-fungible token in metaverse, offer in-depth discussion from diverse perspectives and based on different understandings and practices and stimulate industrial innovation in new ways, with a view to facilitating further integration of animation and game IP and digital industry.
The 2022 Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Industry-University-Research Innovation Symposium will highlight the innovation and application of AI in various industries, introduce the state-of-the-art technological achievements and outstanding projects in Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region to professional institutions, and organize industry-university-research project matchmaking and business negotiations. Under the theme of “Developing Medical Health with Technology”, the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Forum on Technological Development for an Innovative Future will showcase the status quo and outcomes of medical technology in the “Two Zones” (the Integrated National Demonstration Zone for Increased Opening in the Service Sector, and the China (Beijing) Pilot Free Trade Zone), and look at the “new dynamics” of medical technology in Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei in the post-pandemic era, to accelerate the deep integration and coordinated development of enterprises in the upstream and downstream of the industrial chain.
