Guo Huaigang, Chairman of CCPIT Beijing, led a delegation to visit PwC on the morning of September 14, a member of the International Business Leaders Advisory Council for the Mayor of Beijing, and had a discussion on the Advisory Council mechanism, the ad-hoc working team for serving foreign-funded enterprises, and the following steps to strengthen cooperation with Zhou Xing, Managing Partner and North China Markets Leader of PwC China. The delegation was joined by Vice Chairwoman Wu Lanlan, officials from the Advisory Council Secretariat and heads of departments from PwC.
Guo Huaigang expressed his gratitude to PwC for its active participation in the Advisory Council and the suggestions proposed for Beijing’s development. He said that as a window and a bridge for the capital’s opening up, CCPIT Beijing will accurately identify its positioning in serving Beijing’s high-level opening up based on the current complicated and ever-changing international situations and the requirements for trade promotion in the new era, develop into a high-end think tank for international trade and investment, apply digital technologies to facilitate trade and investment, and strengthen commercial law services, dedicated to building an innovative service platform for Chinese and foreign enterprises to expand cooperation. He also expressed his expectation that PwC, as an internationally renowned consulting enterprise, will strengthen information exchange and cooperation with CCPIT Beijing in consulting service and research for decision-making and joint organization of international activities, to contribute ideas and suggestions to the high-quality development of trade promotion in Beijing.
Zhou Xing gave an overview on PwC’s global structure, key business, future development strategy, and party building work featuring its unique characteristics, proposed suggestions on how to solve the difficulties encountered by foreign-funded enterprises in their operations and development and how to give full play to the role of CCPIT Beijing in the capital’s development in the new era. She said that PwC will further strengthen communication with CCPIT Beijing in different areas and join hands with it in enhancing business cooperation and forward-looking research.
