On the afternoon of October 20, a delegation, led by Zhang Jianwei, Secretary of the Party Leadership Group of CCPIT Beijing and President of the Beijing Chamber of International Commerce (BCIC), and Li Xiangying, Chairperson of CCPIT Beijing, paid a research visit to the National Base for International Cultural Trade, Beijing. The delegation toured the Beijing Art Bonded Zone and visited key exhibition areas, including the AI Art Immersive Exhibition and an exhibition of works by Slovak artist Jaro Šulek. They learned about the base’s operational structure and business models, which cover international cultural and artistic exchanges, the promotion of Chinese culture overseas, and bonded cultural trade. The delegation also held discussions with Zhang Jinling, Chairperson of the Board of Capital Culture and Technology Group Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “CCTG”). Also participating in the visit were Zhang Fangfang, Vice Chairperson of CCPIT Beijing; Deng Wenbin, Deputy District Mayor of the People’s Government of Shunyi District; Wang Xin, Deputy Director of the Administrative Committee of the Beijing Capital International Airport Economic Zone; Qi Ying, Chief Accountant of CCTG; and heads of relevant departments from both sides.

At the symposium, Zhang Jinling gave a systematic overview of CCTG’s overall layout, development achievements, and future strategic plans across its four core business segments: publishing and distribution, performing arts and film and television, media and events, and cultural services. She noted that leveraging the policy advantages of the Beijing Tianzhu Comprehensive Bonded Zone, the base has established an integrated service system for bonded warehousing, bonded exhibition, and bonded trading of cultural products. It has also attracted a diverse range of business and activities spanning cultural relics restoration, contemporary art, music and art, and culture-technology integration. Zhang Jinling expressed the hope that both sides would further strengthen cooperation in overseas resources and channels, jointly promote the base and its resident cultural enterprises in expanding into international markets. She also called for deeper cooperation in economic and trade exchanges, exhibition, and commercial legal services. Representatives from Beijing Shouwenke Cultural and Creative Real Estate Co., Ltd. and resident enterprises also shared insights on the base's operational performance and experiences they had gained in developing their businesses.

Zhang Jianwei stated that CCPIT Beijing and CCTG have complementary strengths and closely aligned functions in serving enterprises. CCPIT Beijing will leverage its functional role of “connecting government and enterprises, linking domestic and international markets, and facilitating the alignment of supply and demand” to provide comprehensive support for improving the quality and efficiency of the base and promoting the high-quality development of enterprises. First, CCPIT Beijing will promote two-way cultural exchanges, bringing high-quality cultural resources from overseas into China while supporting Beijing’s premium cultural projects and enterprises in expanding into international markets. Second, it will foster complementary channels. Through exhibition platforms such as the China Beijing International High-Tech Expo (CHITEC), the Beijing International Investment and Trade Conference (BIIT), the China International Supply Chain Expo (CISCE), and the World Expo, CCPIT Beijing will support the base and its resident enterprises in broadening their access to resources and establishing business connections. It will also explore cooperation models that integrate trade and culture to advance cross-sector exchanges and collaboration. Third, CCPIT Beijing will strengthen service cooperation and resource sharing. Leveraging the role of the specialized committees of the BCIC, it will provide commercial and legal services in copyright protection, compliance for cultural product imports and exports, and international commercial dispute mediation. These efforts will help cultural enterprises expand overseas and contribute to the development of Beijing as a national cultural center and its high-level opening up.
