BCIC Successfully Holds Going Global Service Partner Exchange

On September 23, the Going Global Service Partner Exchange, jointly organized by the Beijing Chamber of International Commerce (BCIC), the Management Committee of the Daxing Biomedical Industry Base of ZhongGuanCun Science Park, and the Tiangongyuan Subdistrict Office, was held in Daxing District. The event brought together more than 180 representatives from government departments, industrial parks, industry organizations, and medical device companies. Zhu Jialiang, Vice Chairman of CCPIT Beijing and Vice President & Secretary General of BCIC, and Liu Qilong, Vice Governor of Daxing District, addressed the event.

During the launch and signing session, seven service agencies and enterprises joined the “Medical Device Going Global Service Partners” network. Four medical device companies seeking to expand overseas each signed cooperation agreements with four upstream and downstream service providers. During the thematic presentation session, Hou Shouguo, Director of the Biomedicine Industry Division of the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Economy and Information Technology; Chen Guangtao from the Medical Device Manufacturing Division of the Beijing Municipal Medical Products Administration; Qi Peng, a professor at Capital Medical University; Cai Xingjuan, Deputy Secretary of the CPC Tiangongyuan Subdistrict Working Committee in Daxing District; and Li Jinliang, Head of the International Marketing Department at Beijing Aeonmed Co., Ltd., shared insights into the development of Beijing’s medical device industry, policies on medical device exports and medical insurance, integrated industry services, and enterprises’ practical experience in going global. Their presentations provided medical device companies expanding overseas with comprehensive guidance spanning policy interpretation and pratical implementation.

At the closed-door seminar, Xu Jiarui, Director of the ‌Data Center at the Guangdong Institute of Advanced Biomaterials and Medical Devices, outlined the key trends in international expansion based on insights into the medical device industry and overseas opportunities in 2026. Officials from the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Economy and Information Technology, the Beijing Municipal Medical Products Administration, and relevant authorities of Daxing District also held face-to-face discussions with representatives of more than 20 enterprises. Focusing on Beijing’s measures to support medical device companies in expanding overseas, they gained an in-depth understanding of companies’ needs and broadly solicited their opinions and suggestions.
