On September 20, 2026, the 2nd Forum on Foreign-Related Legal Services Under Belt and Road Cooperation, organized by the Beijing Lawyers Association, was held in Beijing. Under the theme “Rule of Law Safeguarding the Silk Road, Joint Efforts for a Shared Future”, participants exchanged views on developing a legal service system for Belt and Road cooperation, preventing and resolving international commercial disputes, ensuring compliance in overseas investment, and other topics.
During the event, the Beijing Chamber of International Commerce (BCIC) and the Beijing Lawyers Association signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on Cooperation. The two sides will establish a long-term cooperation mechanism for foreign-related legal services and jointly provide legal safeguards and professional support for Beijing-based enterprises participating in Belt and Road cooperation.
Going forward, CCPIT Beijing and BCIC will continue to strengthen practical cooperation with the Beijing Lawyers Association and other professional service providers. Leveraging their unique strengths in connecting government and enterprises, linking domestic and international markets, and facilitating supply-demand matchmaking, they will actively establish foreign-related legal service platforms to support the high-quality international expansion of Beijing-based enterprises.
