On September 16, “Beijing Products Going Global, Beijing Enterprises Connecting Worldwide”—Beijing Private Enterprises International Development and Cooperation Conference was successfully held at Beijing International Hotel. The event was organized by CCPIT Beijing and the Beijing Federation of Industry and Commerce, and co-organized by the Beijing Association of Foreign Invested Enterprises and the Thai-Beijing Chamber of Commerce. Under the theme “Connecting Globally for a Win-Win Future”, the event aimed to establish an efficient platform connecting Beijing’s private enterprises with global economic and trade resources, support local brands in expanding overseas, and facilitate mutually beneficial cooperation among Beijing-based enterprises. Zhang Jianwei, Secretary of Party Leadership Group of CCPIT Beijing and President of Beijing Chamber of International Commerce; Li Zhenkun, Vice Chairman of the Beijing Federation of Industry and Commerce; and Montavee Hongsyok, President of the Phuket Chapter of the Federation of Thai Industries, addressed the event. Li Shulin, Director of the Talent Exchange Service Center of the All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce, and Zhang Fangfang, Vice Chairperson of CCPIT Beijing, jointly witnessed the launch of “Set Sail for ASEAN—Executive Development Program for Internationalization of Private Enterprises.” Around 150 representatives attended the event, including a delegation of Thai entrepreneurs, representatives of Beijing-based business associations from Europe, the Middle East, South America, and other regions, and representatives of private enterprises from various districts of Beijing.
In his remarks, Zhang Jianwei noted that, as global industrial chains undergo accelerated restructuring, Beijing’s private enterprises are entering an important window period of opportunity to expand into overseas markets and deepen international cooperation. As a center for international exchanges and scientific and technological innovation, Beijing boasts abundant industrial resources, strong innovation capabilities, and significant market potential. CCPIT Beijing will respond to enterprise needs, leverage its role as a bridge, actively establish platforms for international exchange and cooperation, and expand its service network for enterprises going global. It will strengthen information sharing, channel development, and talent support to help Beijing’s private enterprises expand steadily and sustainably in international markets.
The event also saw the official release of the Export Catalogue for Beijing’s Private Enterprises. Jointly compiled by CCPIT Beijing and the Beijing Federation of Industry and Commerce, the Catalogue will be distributed to overseas trade and investment promotion agencies and used extensively at international exhibitions and conventions, helping Beijing brands connect more effectively with global markets. The “Set Sail for ASEAN—Executive Development Program for Internationalization of Private Enterprises” aims to strengthen entrepreneurs’ capabilities in cross-border investment and industrial operations, providing them with resources, market access, and talent to support their international expansion.
During the thematic presentation session, Zhang Jing, Executive Vice President & Secretary General of the Thai-Beijing Chamber of Commerce; Jiang Haofang, President of China UK Business Development Centre in China; Zhang Xiao, Chief Representative of the Dubai Chambers Beijing Office; and Song Yuqi, Business Manager at the Mexican Chamber of Commerce in China (MEXCHAM), shared insights into China-Thailand business cooperation, cooperation opportunities in the UK and Dubai, and trade between China and Mexico. During the case studies session, Xue Shengcong, Partner for Strategy, Risk & Transactions at Deloitte China; Li Lei, International Business Representative at Dubai Multi Commodities Centre (DMCC); and Yuan Guoshu, General Manager of Guoshu Technical (Beijing) Co., Ltd, drew on their practical experience to explore the opportunities and challenges facing private enterprises expanding overseas.
Building on the pragmatic, efficient, and resource-oriented approach of the “Beijing Products Going Global” initiative, the event featured the release of concrete outcomes, thematic presentations, case studies, and business matchmaking. Covering the full process from policy interpretation to practical implementation, it provided Beijing’s private enterprises with comprehensive support for international expansion, helping them seize emerging opportunities and steadily expand their presence in global markets amid a complex international environment.
