On September 9, Tang Haijiao, Vice Chairman and First-level Inspector of CCPIT Beijing and President of the Beijing Academy of International Economy and Trade (BAIET), led a delegation to visit the Academy of Contemporary China and World Studies (ACCWS). The delegation met with Li Yafang, Deputy Editor-in-Chief of China International Communications Group and President of ACCWS, and other relevant officials.
Li Yafang introduced ACCWS’ institutional profile, functional positioning, and achievements in international communication, think tank development, and international exchanges. She expressed the hope that ACCWS would strengthen cooperation with CCPIT Beijing in areas such as international publicity, economic and trade research, and support for enterprises going global.
Tang Haijiao provided an overview of CCPIT Beijing’s work and BAIET’s activities in policy research, academic exchanges, and member services. He noted that ACCWS is well positioned to contribute its authority and expertise in international communication, particularly in telling China’s stories, amplifying China’s voice, and developing a national-level think tank in this field. These strengths provide broad opportunities for cooperation with CCPIT Beijing and BAIET. Going forward, the two sides will deepen cooperation and leverage their respective strengths in organizing signature events, providing input for decision-making, and expanding media outreach, thereby jointly supporting enterprises in expanding internationally and contributing to Beijing's high-standard opening-up.
