At the invitation of CCPIT Beijing, Randy Peers, President of the Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce, visited Beijing from September 8 to 10, 2026.
Li Xiangying, Chairperson of CCPIT Beijing, met with Peers. The two sides reached consensus on jointly developing economic and trade platforms, establishing regular reciprocal delegation visits, and continuing to support SMEs in expanding into international markets under the framework of their friendly cooperation agreement.
During his stay in Beijing, Peers visited the Beijing headquarters of iSoftStone, key sites along the UNESCO-listed Beijing Central Axis in Dongcheng District, the Lumicang New Audiovisual Industrial Park, and Beijing Tianxiang Ruiyi Technology Co., Ltd., an enterprise based in the park. The visits provided him with an opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of Beijing’s business environment, engage with local enterprises and learn about their products and services, and explore potential areas and pathways for cooperation between Chinese and US businesses. Peers also attended the 2026 China International Fair for Trade in Services, where he participated in the opening summit and selected sub-forums, addressed the 2026 Global Trade in Services Roundtable, toured the exhibition areas and interacted with exhibitors. He also visited Shougang Park, where he exchanged views on future cooperation in areas such as urban renewal and energy.
Going forward, CCPIT Beijing will maintain regular exchanges with the Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce and continue to facilitate interaction and cooperation between enterprises in Beijing and New York.
