On September 4, Zhang Fangfang, Vice Chairperson of CCPIT Beijing, led a delegation to visit JOINN Laboratories and met with He Cheng, Vice General Manager of the company. Relevant officials from both sides also attended the meeting.
He Cheng provided a detailed overview of the development history, innovative drug service system, and international business strategy of JOINN Laboratories. As one of China’s earliest contract research organizations (CROs) specializing in nonclinical drug evaluation, JOINN Laboratories was listed on the A-share main board in 2017 and on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange in February 2021, becoming the first pre-clinical CRO in China to achieve an A+H dual listing. Over the past three years, JOINN Biologics has provided contract development and manufacturing organization (CDMO) services to nearly 100 biotechnology companies and more than 300 innovative biologics projects, helping clients secure 57 investigational new drug (IND) approvals worldwide. During the meeting, the two sides held in-depth discussions on international business development, overseas market expansion, and other topics.
Zhang Fangfang noted that CCPIT Beijing actively represents the interests of the business community and leverages its role in connecting government and enterprises, linking domestic and international markets, and facilitating supply-demand matchmaking. Focusing on enterprises’ international development needs, CCPIT Beijing provides targeted support in areas such as overseas expansion, commercial legal services, and economic and trade platforms, helping enterprises overcome challenges in “going global” and tap into opportunities in international markets. She expressed the hope that JOINN Laboratories, as a member of the Beijing Chamber of International Commerce and Vice Chair of its Committee for Overseas Expansion Services, would leverage its full-industry-chain platform to help more Beijing-based enterprises expand into overseas markets.
Going forward, CCPIT Beijing will continue to conduct regular visit to key enterprises, respond to their development needs, and proactively provide relevant services. It will make every effort to help Beijing’s leading technology innovators and biopharmaceutical enterprises seize development opportunities, expand into international markets, and achieve higher-quality development.
