On September 2, Zhu Jialiang, Vice Chairman of CCPIT Beijing, led a delegation to Pinggu District and met with Ma Dongmei, Vice Governor of Pinggu District. The two sides exchanged views on international economic and trade cooperation and the internationalization of Agricultural Zhongguancun Science Park. Officials from the Pinggu District Commerce Bureau and the Administrative Committee of the Pinggu National Agricultural Science and Technology Park attended the meeting.
Before the meeting, the delegation visited the Agricultural Zhongguancun Innovation Workshop, where they inspected the park’s operations and learned about its agricultural technology innovation, industrial development plans, and progress in international cooperation and exchanges.
During the meeting, Ma Dongmei provided an overview of Pinggu’s efforts to advance opening-up and the developments of the Agricultural Zhongguancun Science Park. She said that Pinggu is accelerating the development of Agricultural Zhongguancun Science Park and building the district into a major logistics hub for Beijing. She expressed the hope that CCPIT Beijing would provide further guidance and support in connecting Pinggu with international resources, assisting local enterprises in “going global”, and organizing major economic and trade events.
Zhu Jialiang noted that CCPIT Beijing will leverage its bridging role and precisely tailor its support with Pinggu’s needs for building overseas expansion service platforms, cooperating on international conventions and exhibitions, and organizing outbound business missions and matchmaking activities. Through practical measures, CCPIT Beijing will contribute to Pinggu’s high-standard opening-up and the high-quality development of Agricultural Zhongguancun Science Park.
