On August 25, CCPIT Beijing and the Saudi Chinese Business Council (SCBC) jointly organized an AI innovation and smart manufacturing workshop as part of the “Online Industry Salon” event series. Nearly 50 representatives from Chinese and Saudi entities participated online. Anas Alfadda, Vice Chairman of SCBC, presided over the event.
In line with China’s efforts to improve the quality and efficiency of cross-border trade—particularly by strengthening exports of AI, robotics, and innovative medicines— the workshop focused on AI applications and the upgrading of intelligent manufacturing. It aimed to support the international expansion of high-value-added technologies and solutions developed by Beijing-based enterprises in fields such as AI and robotics. Z.ai and Anyverse Dynamics were invited to deliver presentations and engage in practical online business matchmaking with SCBC and representatives of Saudi enterprises in relevant industries.
Z.ai introduced its multi-modal LLMs and Model-as-a-Service (MaaS) platform, while Anyverse Dynamics presented its integrated hardware and software solutions for general-purpose embodied intelligent robots. Representatives of Saudi enterprises engaged in active and in-depth exchanges with the two companies on issues including technology adaptation, localized deployment, and application scenarios.
The workshop responded directly to Saudi Arabia’s pressing demand for the introduction and localized application of emerging technologies under Saudi Vision 2030. It established an efficient business matchmaking channel for Beijing-based enterprises in AI and intelligent manufacturing and further strengthened the foundation for cooperation between the two sides.
As a cross-border industrial matchmaking brand developed by CCPIT Beijing, the “Online Industry Salon” will continue to leverage the flexibility and efficiency of its online platform, overcome geographical barriers, and facilitate in-depth virtual exchanges and resource connections between Chinese and international enterprises. Going forward, CCPIT Beijing will closely follow emerging trends in international industrial cooperation, organize a series of specialized events, and continuously enhance its platform-based services.
