On August 28, the Beijing International Economic and Trade Lecture—Miyun Session: “AI in E-commerce” Training was successfully held. The event was organized by CCPIT Beijing and Beijing Chamber of International Commerce (BCIC), and hosted by Miyun District Commerce Bureau. More than 150 participants attended the training, including commercial and trade company operators, e-commerce practitioners, and first secretaries of villages in Miyun.
The lecture was delivered by Li Yi, Associate Research Fellow at the E-commerce Institute of the Chinese Academy of International Trade and Economic Cooperation under the Ministry of Commerce (MOFCOM) of China. Focusing on AI applications in e-commerce, intelligent traffic operations, practical techniques for live-streaming and short-video, and trends in cross-border e-commerce, the training combined theoretical instruction, case studies, hands-on practice, and an on-site Q&A session. Drawing on representative industry cases, Li Yi introduced practical approaches to leveraging AI to reduce costs, improve efficiency, acquire customers, and increase revenue. The training featured lively interaction and discussion.
Going forward, CCPIT Beijing will continue to leverage its platform to share economic and trade resources with Beijing’s districts, thereby supporting rural revitalization and high-quality regional economic development.
