On the morning of August 21, 2026, Li Xiangying, Chairperson of CCPIT Beijing, met with a delegation led by Guo Qingyao, Vice Mayor of Shiyan. The two sides exchanged views on deepening economic and trade cooperation between Beijing and Shiyan. Zhang Fangfang, Vice Chairperson of CCPIT Beijing, attended the meeting, along with officials from both sides.
Guo Qingyao noted that Beijing and Shiyan have a strong foundation for cooperation. As an important force supporting the capital’s high-quality economic and trade development, CCPIT Beijing has distinctive strengths in building international exchange platforms and mobilizing global business resources. He expressed the hope that the two sides would establish a long-term cooperation mechanism, expand trade promotion cooperation across a broader range of areas, support Shiyan-based enterprises in exploring overseas markets, provide commercial services, and organize member enterprises of the Beijing Chamber of International Commerce (BCIC) to visit Shiyan for industrial matchmaking and exchanges.
Li Xiangying welcomed the delegation and expressed CCPIT Beijing’s willingness to establish a cooperation mechanism with Shiyan, regularly organize two-way business exchanges and targeted matchmaking activities, and further deepen counterpart cooperation between the two cities. She welcomed Shiyan-based enterprises to join BCIC and participate in outbound business missions and other economic and trade activities. Li Xiangying also said that CCPIT Beijing will continue to organize its “Visit to Shiyan” events to promote business cooperation between enterprises in the two cities and ensure that Beijing-Shiyan counterpart cooperation continues to deepen, expand, and deliver tangible results.
