On the morning of August 11, a delegation led by Zhang Jianwei, Secretary of Party Leadership Group of CCPIT Beijing and President of Beijing Chamber of International Commerce, visited S&P Global and met with Huang Zhi, China Chair of S&P Global. Zhang Fangfang, Vice Chairperson of CCPIT Beijing, attended the meeting, along with officials from both sides.
Huang Zhi provided an overview of S&P Global’s history and business portfolio. She thanked CCPIT Beijing for its continued attention and support and spoke highly of the high-quality services and diverse activities it provides for members of the International Business Leaders Advisory Council for the Mayor of Beijing (IBLAC).
Zhang Jianwei noted that CCPIT Beijing will continue to follow S&P Global’s development in Beijing, strengthen government-business engagement under the IBLAC framework, and facilitate cooperation in areas such as information sharing and industrial upgrading. He expressed the hope that S&P Global would actively participate in major economic and trade events, including the China International Fair for Trade in Services (CIFTIS) and China Beijing International High-Tech Expo (CHITEC), leverage Beijing’s opportunities and prospects, promote collaborative industrial innovation, and contribute jointly to the capital’s high-quality development.
