On the afternoon of July 31, 2026, the BCIC Pharmaceuticals and Healthcare Committee held its first-half work meeting and a supply-demand matchmaking event at the Tong Ren Tang Party School. Zhang Fangfang, Vice Chairperson of CCPIT Beijing, attended and addressed the event. More than 50 representatives from the Committee’s member entities and pharmaceutical enterprises participated.
Zhang Mingyue, Deputy Secretary General of the Committee, presented the Committee’s work report for the first half of 2026. During the reporting period, the Committee organized or co-hosted nine training sessions and industry events covering policies and regulations, intelligent manufacturing, industry chain collaboration, and other key topics, effectively strengthening its industry cohesion and professional service capabilities. Looking ahead to the second half of the year, the Committee will continue to organize policy briefings, specialized training, visits and exchanges, supply-demand matchmaking, and participation in major exhibitions and conventions, to further enhance its influence.
In her remarks, Zhang Fangfang noted that the Committee is committed to building a targeted, pragmatic, and efficient service platform while serving as a bridge connecting Beijing’s pharmaceutical enterprises with overseas business associations and service providers. These efforts supports Beijing’s goal of accelerating the development of a national center for scientific and technological innovation and establishing the city as an innovation hub for the pharmaceutical and healthcare industry. They also contribute to expanding international economic and trade cooperation for local pharmaceutical enterprises. She commended the Committee for its achievements in the first half of the year and the tangible benefits delivered to its members. She expressed the hope that the Committee would continue to broaden channels for international exchanges, promote the ongoing development of the pharmaceutical and healthcare industry, and provide pragmatic, end-to-end services for enterprises expanding overseas, thereby supporting the international growth of Beijing’s pharmaceutical sector.
Following the meeting, an exchange session themed “Integrating Pharmaceutical Resources and Empowering Industrial Development: Building a Comprehensive Service System for the Pharmaceutical Industry Chain” was held. Representatives from Mcare, Ding Tai Pharmaceutical, and UMU—three leading enterprises operating at key points along the industry chain—delivered presentations on pharmaceutical raw and auxiliary material supply, microbial contamination control in cleanrooms, digital pharmaceutical marketing, overseas expansion policy services, and AI-enabled talent development. LinaTech (Beijing) TF Medical Science and Technology Co., Ltd. was also invited to share its experience in international market expansion, providing valuable insights and a typical case study for Beijing-based pharmaceutical enterprises seeking to enter global markets. Participating enterprises also engaged in on-site discussions and business matchmaking.
