On the morning of July 30, Zhang Jianwei, Secretary of the Party Leadership Group of CCPIT Beijing and President of the Beijing Chamber of International Commerce, and Li Xiangying, Chairperson of CCPIT Beijing, led a delegation to visit the Beijing Office of the US-China Business Council (USCBC), where they met with Zhang Lipei, Acting Senior Vice President and Head of China Operations at USCBC. Zhu Jialiang, Vice Chairman of CCPIT Beijing, and officials from relevant departments of both sides attended the meeting.
Zhang Lipei said that USCBC has long been committed to strengthening commercial ties between China and the United States and expanding the room for cooperation between enterprises from both countries. She thanked CCPIT Beijing for its continued attention to the US market and American companies and expressed the hope that the two organizations would further enhance interaction through reciprocal visits, jointly organized events, and other initiatives.
Zhang Jianwei noted that CCPIT Beijing serves as an important bridge for promoting economic and trade exchanges between China and the rest of the world. By leveraging its role in “connecting government and enterprises, linking domestic and international markets, and facilitating supply-demand matchmaking”, CCPIT Beijing continues to promote government-business dialogue while supporting Chinese enterprises in expanding overseas and assisting US companies in developing their businesses in China. He invited USCBC and its member companies to further deepen their presence in Beijing and make full use of major platforms such as the China International Fair for Trade in Services (CIFTIS) and China Beijing International High-Tech Expo (CHITEC) to advance practical collaboration and contribute to the capital’s high-standard opening-up.
