On the morning of July 22, a CCPIT Beijing delegation led by Zhang Jianwei, Secretary of Party Leadership Group, visited the American Chamber of Commerce in China (AmCham China) and met with Michael Hart, President of AmCham China. CCPIT Beijing Vice Chairman Zhu Jialiang attended the meeting, along with officials from both sides.
Michael Hart welcomed the delegation and introduced AmCham China’s membership base and the business development of its member companies in China. He expressed the hope that AmCham China and CCPIT Beijing would establish a regular interaction platform to facilitate greater exchanges and cooperation between their respective business communities and support companies in expanding global markets.
Zhang Jianwei noted that CCPIT Beijing will continue to fulfill its role as a voice for the business community, promote bilateral trade and local-level cooperation, strengthen links between enterprises from both countries, and facilitate two-way investment and business development. He invited AmCham China and its member companies to participate in major economic and trade events held in Beijing, including the China International Fair for Trade in Services (CIFTIS), China Beijing International High-Tech Expo (CHITEC), and Beijing International Investment and Trade Conference (BIIT). He also encouraged them to leverage Beijing’s favorable business environment and development opportunities, and contribute jointly to the capital’s high-quality development.
