On July 16 and July 21, a CCPIT delegation led by Chairman Ren Hongbin visited Beijing’s Fangshan and Shijingshan districts, respectively. The delegation was accompanied by Zhang Jianwei, Secretary of Party Leadership Group of CCPIT Beijing; Li Xiangying, Chairperson of CCPIT Beijing; Di Zhixin, Deputy Secretary and Governor of Fangshan District; and Wan Long, Deputy Secretary and Governor of Shijingshan District.
The delegation visited several industrial parks and enterprises, including the Fangshan Park of Zhongguancun Science Park and the Humanoid Robot Data Training Center in Shijingshan District, gaining a comprehensive understanding of the districts’ economic development and the layout of pillar industries. Ren Hongbin spoke highly of the achievements made by Fangshan and Shijingshan in the R&D and commercialization of cutting-edge technologies in areas such as green energy storage, advanced manufacturing, artificial intelligence, and sci-fi and digital industries. He expressed the hope that the two districts would leverage CCPIT’s global economic and trade network and national trade promotion platform to better support enterprises in technological innovation and commercialization, while promoting the global development of sophisticated industries.
