On June 22, the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Promotion Conference on Supply Chain 2026 was successfully held in Beijing. As a key supporting event of the 4th China International Supply Chain Expo (CISCE), the event was jointly organized by CCPIT Beijing, CCPIT Tianjin, and CCPIT Hebei under the theme “Smart Chain Collaboration for a Shared Future”. It brought together more than 600 representatives from the government, industry, academia, and the media, including delegates from enterprises and organizations across 22 countries and regions, such as the UK, France, Jordan, Malaysia, Hong Kong, and Macao.

Li Xingqian, Vice Chairman of CCPIT; Yang Shuo, Under Secretary General of Beijing Municipal People’s Government; Pierre Mirochnikoff, Vice President of the Benelux Chamber of Commerce in China; Davit Mkhitaryan, Vice President and Chief Representative in China of the Armenian Chinese Partnership Center; and Murat Karimsakov, Chairman of the Board of the Chamber of International Commerce of Kazakhstan, addressed the event.

During the frontier insights session, leading AI experts and scholars shared in-depth perspectives on emerging trends and opportunities for the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region’s “AI +” industries. During the regional promotion session, representatives from local industrial parks and enterprises discussed Beijing’s role as a source of technological innovation, Tianjin’s strengths in commercializing R&D achievements, and Hebei’s advantages in computing power- and scenario-based collaboration. During the practice sharing session, leading enterprises showcased innovative approaches to integrating AI into industrial and supply chains, covering areas such as synthetic data, computing services, green energy, and intelligent connected vehicles.

A dedicated business matchmaking zone for Beijing, Tianjin, and Hebei was established at the event. Drawing on an in-depth assessment of the three regions’ complementary strengths across industrial chains, the organizers developed a targeted list of supply-and-demand matches and brought together more than 200 leading industrial parks, financial institutions, and enterprises for multiple rounds of one-on-one negotiations. As a result, 37 enterprises reached preliminary cooperation intentions.

The “AI Carnival” exhibition and interactive experience zone showcased the technologies and products developed by innovative AI enterprises from Beijing, Tianjin, and Hebei in areas including consumer interaction, smart living, and portable devices. Through human–robot interaction, multi-modal interaction, and hands-on experiences with intelligent terminals, participants gained an intuitive understanding of AI application scenarios.

The event also delivered a number of tangible outcomes. Zhang Jianwei, Secretary of the Party Leadership Group of CCPIT Beijing and President of the Beijing Chamber of International Commerce (BCIC), signed a MoU on friendly cooperation with Murat Karimsakov, Chairman of the Board of the Chamber of International Commerce of Kazakhstan, and a strategic cooperation agreement with Wang Xusheng, Vice President of the Beijing Branch of the Industrial and Commercial Bank of China. Li Xiangying, Chairperson of CCPIT Beijing; Tang Xiaowen, Chairman of CCPIT Tianjin; and Li Yuntao, Vice Chairman of CCPIT Hebei, jointly launched the Initiative of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei CCPIT System on Supporting the “AI +” Industries. The BCIC AI Committee was officially established at the event.
