On the afternoon of June 24, Zhang Jianwei, Secretary of the Party Leadership Group of CCPIT Beijing and President of the Beijing Chamber of International Commerce (BCIC), met with a visiting Macao business delegation led by Au Chong Kit, Chairman of the Macao SME Association. Tang Haijiao, Vice Chairman and First-Level Inspector of CCPIT Beijing, attended the meeting.
Au Chong Kit noted that the Macao SME Association and CCPIT Beijing have maintained close exchanges and continuously deepened cooperation through platforms including the Macao International Trade and Investment Fair and the China International Supply Chain Expo, laying a solid foundation for collaboration between the business communities of Beijing and Macao. He expressed the hope that the two sides would strengthen their regular cooperation by jointly organizing business matchmaking events, trade negotiations, and other exchange activities, while exploring new opportunities for collaboration to better support Macao’s integration into the country’s overall development.
Zhang Jianwei noted that Beijing and Macao enjoy strong industrial complementarity and that their SMEs have broad prospects for cooperation. He called on both sides to better integrate their resources, make full use of major exhibitions and conventions to establish a regular exchange mechanism, carry out targeted industrial matchmaking in priority sectors, and support each other’s economic and trade initiatives. Through these efforts, he said, the two sides can further deepen practical cooperation in industrial investment, trade, technological R&D, and supply chain coordination.
