On the morning of May 25, Li Xiangying, Chairperson of CCPIT Beijing, met with a delegation led by Scott Wang, Vice President for Asia Pacific of World Trade Center Association (WTCA). The two sides held in-depth discussions on further strengthening economic and trade cooperation. Zhu Jialiang, Vice Chairman of CCPIT Beijing, attended the meeting, along with representatives from both sides.
During the meeting, Scott Wang provided an overview of WTCA’s global network and its recent economic and trade cooperation with Beijing. He noted that, as the world’s largest integrated network of international business facilities and services, WTCA has long been committed to promoting global trade and investment, and highly values Beijing’s dynamic trade-in-services sector and robust digital economy.
Li Xiangying extended a warm welcome to Scott Wang and his delegation, and expressed her appreciation for WTCA’s longstanding support for Beijing’s opening-up efforts. She stated that CCPIT Beijing attaches great importance to its partnership with WTCA and stands ready to work with the Association to further enhance communication and coordination. The two sides agreed to deepen practical cooperation in areas such as co-organizing economic and trade exchange activities and building platforms for business matchmaking, with a view to jointly supporting Beijing’s high-standard opening-up and high-quality economic development.
