From May 17 to 19, CCPIT Beijing strengthened municipality-district coordination by hosting the “Go Global” Overseas Services Event Series: Supply-demand Matching Session for Southeast Asia Medical Product Exports. Leveraging the strengths of the Daxing Biomedical Industry Base of Zhongguancun Science Park and the Jingnan Logistics Base, the event brought together relevant departments of the Daxing District Government, along with the BCIC Committees for SRDI Enterprises, Pharmaceuticals and Healthcare, and Overseas Expansion Services. It attracted more than 230 Chinese and international participants, including representatives from 96 Chinese enterprises and 34 Southeast Asian buyers from Thailand, Nepal, Pakistan, and other markets. Prior to the event, organizers conducted preliminary matchmaking by collecting product information from 100 Chinese suppliers and procurement requirements from 34 overseas buyers, compiling a matchmaking handbook, and arranging on-site product displays for 42 enterprises. During the event, through business negotiations, enterprise visits, follow-up targeted matchmaking sessions, and closed-door exchanges, the event generated 12 prospective deals with a total estimated value of approximately RMB 132 million.

Zhu Jialiang, Vice Chairman of CCPIT Beijing, stated that the matchmaking session, jointly organized with Daxing District, aimed to leverage CCPIT Beijing’s extensive global network to precisely align international procurement demand with the industrial strengths of the “China Medicine Valley”, providing enterprises with an efficient and direct service channel for entering Southeast Asian and broader international markets. Going forward, CCPIT Beijing will continue to build on its functional strengths in connecting government and enterprises, linking domestic and international markets, and facilitating supply-demand matchmaking, while establishing more matchmaking platforms to support Beijing enterprises in expanding overseas.

A signing ceremony for the Memorandum of Cooperation among “Go Global” Partners was held on site. Representatives from Beijing Biological Medicine Industry Base Development Co., Ltd., the Tiangongyuan Subdistrict Office of Daxing District, and relevant institutions from Thailand and Nepal signed agreements to establish a long-term, multi-party collaboration mechanism. A concurrent signing ceremony for procurement letters of intent further strengthened government-enterprise coordination and advanced cross-border cooperation in the medical industry.

The event featured two dedicated matchmaking sessions. The medical product exhibition and sales session created a direct exchange platform for Chinese and international enterprises, streamlining the matchmaking process and accelerating alignment between supply and demand. The closed-door negotiation session for key projects consisted of two areas—negotiations with Thai healthcare system buyers and industrial investment promotion—helping enterprises open official procurement channels and advance in-depth consultations. On the following day, overseas business representatives visited the Zhongguancun Medical Device Park and Tongrentang’s Daxing Base, gaining first-hand insight into local R&D and production capabilities. Based on preliminary matchmaking outcomes, they also conducted one-on-one negotiations, accelerating the conversion of cooperation intents into concrete orders.

As a flagship initiative supporting enterprises in expanding overseas, the “Go Global” event series centered on the practical challenges companies face in entering international markets. The program has established a five-in-one service framework integrating supply-demand alignment, closed-door transaction facilitation, policy support, on-site verification, and long-term follow-up. Prior to each event, procurement needs are surveyed and accurately matched through enterprise profiling. During the event, dedicated business talks and closed-door matchmaking sessions for key projects are complemented by briefings on overseas market trends and other topics to support corporate decision-making. Following the event, overseas buyers are invited to visit industrial bases to verify their production capacity, while procurement-intention ledgers and secondary matchmaking mechanisms are established to ensure closed-loop, end-to-end services. This Southeast Asia-oriented session marked a practical implementation of the service framework. Going forward, CCPIT Beijing will continue to serve as a bridge to integrate international economic and trade resources through the “Go Global” platform, supporting more high-quality medical products from Beijing in entering Southeast Asian markets and reaching the wider world.
