On April 1, CCPIT Beijing held an online working meeting with Dubai Chambers. The meeting was attended by Li Xiangying, CCPIT Beijing Chairperson, and Mohammad Ali Rashed Lootah, President and CEO of Dubai Chambers. The two sides exchanged views on expanding bilateral economic, trade, and investment cooperation and explored opportunities for institutional collaboration. Zhu Jialiang, Vice Chairman of CCPIT Beijing, also attended the meeting, along with officials from both sides.
Mohammad Ali Rashed Lootah remarked that in recent years, Dubai Chambers and CCPIT Beijing have maintained close cooperation. Through jointly organizing economic events, the two sides have continually and successfully promoted two-way investment and trade between Beijing and Dubai. Looking ahead, he expressed willingness to renew the memorandum of understanding (MoU) with CCPIT Beijing at a an appropriate time to further advance practical cooperation. He also invited CCPIT Beijing to lead a delegation to the Dubai Business Forum in Shenzhen this October, with a view to supporting both sides in expanding their global investment efforts.
Li Xiangying affirmed CCPIT Beijing's support for the forum in Shenzhen, and noted that it would encourage members of the Beijing Chamber of International Commerce to take part in related activities. She emphasized the importance of leveraging the event to identify shared investment interests and to help shape the direction of future economic and trade activities in Beijing. She also extended a cordial invitation to Dubai Chambers and its member enterprises to participate in major trade fairs hosted by CCPIT Beijing, including the Beijing International Investment and Trade Conference (BIIT) and the 28th China Beijing International High-tech Expo.
