On March 11, a delegation of more than 70 directors from trade promotion agencies across China visited the Beijing Economic-Technological Development Area (BDA) for a study tour.
The delegation first visited the exhibition hall of the Beijing High-Level Autonomous Driving Demonstration Zone Innovation Operation Center. They were briefed on the application scenarios for high-level autonomous driving, the structure of the industry chain, and the development of intelligent connected vehicles. The delegation also took a ride on a self-driving minibus, gaining first-hand insights into Beijing’s comprehensive exploration and practical achievements in vehicles, road infrastructure, cloud technology, networks, mapping, and security. The delegation then visited BOE Technology Group Co., Ltd., a global leader in the display industry. During the visit, they learned about the company’s independent R&D capabilities and the application of its liquid crystal display (LCD) technologies across five major sectors: smartphones, tablets, laptops, monitors, and televisions.
Tang Haijiao, Vice Chairman and First-Level Inspector of CCPIT Beijing, and Sun Shaozheng, Deputy Director General of the BDA Bureau of Finance and Commerce, accompanied the delegation throughout the visit.
