On March 4 and 6, CCPIT Chairman Ren Hongbin led a delegation to Huairou and Haidian Districts of Beijing, respectively. In Huairou District, the delegation conducted on-site inspections of the High Energy Photon Source, the Beijing Laser Acceleration Innovation Center, the Jingjinji National Center of Technology Innovation (Huairou Science City), as well as SRDI (Specialized, Refined, Differentiated, and Innovative) enterprises including CASAcme. The delegation gained detailed insights into the construction and operation of major national technological infrastructure, the independent R&D efforts of SRDI enterprises, and the market application of technological achievements. Following the site visits, Ren Hongbin met with Zhang Qiang, Party secretary of Huairou District and Secretary of the Party Working Committee of Huairou Science City. The two sides conducted in-depth exchanges on advancing technological innovation in Huairou, accelerating the cultivation of new-quality productive forces, and supporting enterprises in further participating in international cooperation. In Haidian, the delegation visited the Zhongguancun Quantum Technology Future Industrial Park, and leading AI enterprises including Beijing Galbot Co., Ltd. and Moonshot AI. They received detailed briefings on developments in the frontier field of quantum information technology, and on the technological capabilities and achievements of the AI enterprises.
Liang Shuang, Huairou District Governor and Director of the Administrative Committee of Huairou Science City, accompanied the delegation, together with Huairou District officials Lan Xiongjing and Wei Xiaoping and Sui Xiaofeng, Vice Governor of Haidian District. Other participants included Li Xiangying, Chairperson of CCPIT Beijing, Zhu Jialiang, Vice Chairman of CCPIT Beijing, and representatives from the CCPIT Department of Industry Promotion, the China Chamber of International Commerce, and the China International Exhibition Center Group.
