On March 2, Li Xiangying, Chairperson of CCPIT Beijing, led a delegation to the Municipal Bureau of Justice for a meeting. The meeting was presided over by Cui Yang, Director of the Municipal Bureau of Justice. The two sides held in-depth discussions on further strengthening collaboration to support the continued improvement of Beijing’s market-oriented, law-based, convenient, and internationalized business environment. Attending the meeting were Zhang Guoqiang, Deputy Director and First-Level Inspector of the Municipal Bureau of Justice; Cui Bing, Deputy Director of the Municipal Bureau of Justice; Tang Haijiao, Vice Chairman and First-Level Inspector of CCPIT Beijing; as well as heads of relevant departments from both sides.
Li Xiangying stated that CCPIT Beijing would give full play to its distinctive strengths, effectively leverage international resources, and further improve the commercial legal services system. Taking the implementation of the Commercial Mediation Regulations as an opportunity, CCPIT Beijing will pragmatically advance the establishment of a commercial mediation center. She also expressed the hope of deepening cooperation in areas such as public legal services, commercial mediation, and international exchange, so as to better contribute to the development of the Beijing International Demonstration Zone for Integrated Legal and Commercial Services.
Cui Yang expressed his hope that both parties would further advance the implementation of their cooperation agreement, strengthen the sharing of legal resources, expand international exchanges and cooperation, and promote the implementation of the Commercial Mediation Regulations. He also voiced support for CCPIT Beijing’s initiative to establish an international commercial mediation institution, with a view to promoting the development of international commercial mediation, enhancing the system of commercial legal services, and jointly contributing to the capital’s high-level opening-up and the development of the rule of law in foreign-related affairs.
