On the afternoon of February 4, a CCPIT Beijing delegation led by Secretary of the Party Leadership Group Zhang Jianwei visited Beijing MTR Co., Ltd. (BJMTR)—a subsidiary of MTR Corporation—and met with its General Manager Liu Zhuiming, before touring the temporary maintenance workshop at the Majiapu Rolling Stock Depot. CCPIT Beijing Vice Chairman Zhang Xiufeng and BJMTR Vice General Manager Yang Zhongwei were also present.
Liu Zhuiming outlined BJMTR’s recent business developments and future priorities, and expressed his appreciation for CCPIT Beijing’s longstanding support. He noted that the company would continue to deepen collaboration under the framework of the International Business Leaders Advisory Council for the Mayor of Beijing (IBLAC) and leverage the capital’s signature events to expand its operations in China.
Zhang Jianwei noted that CCPIT Beijing has consistently followed BJMTR’s development in the capital while providing “concierge-style” services to address corporate needs and advance Beijing’s public transportation infrastructure. He expressed his hope that MTR Corporation would leverage its role as an IBLAC member to offer suggestions for Beijing’s socioeconomic growth and improve the quality and efficiency of its rail transit system, thus empowering the high-quality development of the capital. He also invited BJMTR to showcase Beijing’s first-class business environment and promote deeper exchange and cooperation with Hong Kong through major platforms such as the China International Fair for Trade in Services, China Beijing International High-tech Expo, and Beijing International Investment and Trade Conference.
