From December 4 to 6, a CCPIT Beijing delegation carried out a series of exchanges and negotiations in Hanoi, aiming to advance economic and investment cooperation between Beijing and Vietnam.
During the visit, the delegation met with the China Chamber of Commerce in Vietnam, the Vietnam Trade Promotion Agency (Vietrade) under the Ministry of Industry and Trade, and the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI). In collaboration with the VCCI, the delegation held the China (Beijing)-Vietnam Business Matchmaking Session, and conducted an on-site survey at Oriental Yuhong Vietnam, a Chinese-funded enterprise.
CCPIT Beijing Meets with the China Chamber of Commerce in Vietnam
On the first day, the delegation visited the China Chamber of Commerce in Vietnam. Zhu Jialiang, Vice Chairman of CCPIT Beijing and Vice President & Secretary General of Beijing Chamber of International Commerce (BCIC), compared notes with Sun Fenglei, Chairman of the China Chamber of Commerce in Vietnam and President of ICBC Hanoi Branch. Sun Fenglei provided an overview of the Chamber and shared insights into China-Vietnam economic and trade exchanges in recent years as well as local investment policies and the overseas expansion of Chinese enterprises. Zhu Jialiang presented the efforts of CCPIT Beijing and the BCIC, expressed his appreciation for the Chamber’s practical guidance in supporting Chinese enterprises going global, and proposed the establishment of a regular communication mechanism to jointly assist Chinese enterprises in expanding overseas. He also invited the Chamber to mobilize enterprises to participate in major economic and trade events to be held in Beijing in 2026.

The delegation was warmly received by Hoang Minh Chien, Deputy Director General of Vietrade, along with officials from the Trade Promotion Policy Department, the International Relations Department, and the Trade and Investment Promotion Support Center. Zhu Jialiang introduced Beijing’s investment environment, while Yun Jing, Director General of the Huairou District Bureau of Commerce, presented the district’s business climate. Zhu Jialiang expressed his hope that the two sides would establish a mechanism to strengthen regular information exchange and cooperation. He also invited Vietrade to mobilize enterprises to participate in major conventions, exhibitions, and economic events in Beijing, including the China International Supply Chain Expo, China International Fair for Trade in Services, and China Beijing International High-tech Expo.
Hoang Minh Chien briefed the delegation on the Vietrade’s liaison offices in China and Vietnam’s major conventions and exhibitions planned for 2026. He thanked CCPIT Beijing for the invitation and expressed his expectation that CCPIT Beijing would also organize business delegations to Vietnam to participate in major conventions, exhibitions, and economic events, with a focus on deepening cooperation in Beijing’s competitive industries such as AI, semiconductors, and other digital economy sectors.

Zhu Jialiang met with Truong Thi Bich Ngoc, Deputy Director of the VCCI’s International Relations Department. Both sides expressed their commitment to deepening communication and leveraging their role as key bilateral economic and trade platforms to jointly promote cooperation in technological innovation, digital transformation, consumer electronics, cross-border trade, and food processing.
At the subsequent China (Beijing)-Vietnam Business Matchmaking Session, Yun Jing delivered a presentation on Huairou’s investment environment. Enterprises invited by the VCCI—spanning sectors such as new energy, investment and trade services, industrial equipment manufacturing, and financial advisory services—engaged in dynamic exchanges with company representatives from the delegation.
During their stay in Vietnam, the delegation also conducted an on-site survey at Oriental Yuhong Vietnam. The head of the company introduced its key business and market outlook, and presented plans to further increase investment, introduce advanced production lines from China, establish hi-tech laboratories, and expand its presence in the Vietnamese market.
