To support pharmaceutical and medical device companies in addressing the challenges of “going global” and accessing international markets, CCPIT Beijing and the Beijing Chamber of International Commerce (BCIC) jointly held a symposium on overseas expansion on November 26. Zhu Jialiang, Vice Chairman of CCPIT Beijing, and Wei Bin, President of the Beijing Commerce of Medical Device, attended the meeting along with executives from 12 companies including Surgnova, Lepu Medical, and Tinavi.
During the symposium, participating enterprises shared the practical challenges and common bottlenecks encountered in their overseas expansion efforts. They expressed the need for greater guidance and support in aligning with international rules, integrating global resources, and enhancing cross-border operational capabilities.
Zhu Jialiang noted that CCPIT Beijing has already introduced a series of pragmatic initiatives in response to enterprise concerns. These include issuing the Action Plan on Assisting Private Enterprises in Exploring Overseas Markets, which outlines 16 concrete measures; establishing the Overseas Expansion Service Committee under the BCIC to integrate specialized resources across finance, law, and other fields; and launching the Series of Beijing International Economic and Trade Lecture to provide targeted guidance on policies, commercial law, compliance risk, and relevant topics. Going forward, CCPIT Beijing and the BCIC will continue to enhance their service systems and platforms, and provide more efficient, targeted support in areas such as policy interpretation, resource coordination, and risk management, thereby steadfastly advancing the introduction of Beijing’s innovative medical products into international markets.
