On the morning of October 20, the Brandenburg-Beijing Business Promotion Conference was successfully held in Beijing. Zhu Jialiang, Vice Chairman of CCPIT Beijing, Daniel Keller, Minister for Economic Affairs, Labour, Energy and Climate Action of the State of Brandenburg, and Sebastian Saule, Managing Director of the Economic Development Agency Brandenburg, delivered remarks at the conference. The event also featured a presentation on the China-Germany economic and technological cooperation demonstration zone. Over 100 representatives from government agencies, trade associations, industrial parks, and enterprises from both countries attended the conference.
In his address, Zhu Jialiang outlined Beijing’s industrial landscape and business environment, encouraging enterprises from Germany and other European countries to further expand their investment and trade cooperation with the city. He reaffirmed that CCPIT Beijing would continue to play a distinctive role in connecting government and enterprises, linking domestic and international markets, and facilitating supply-demand matchmaking, with a view to deepening the substance of Sino-German economic and trade cooperation and advancing Beijing’s high-standard opening-up and high-quality development.
Daniel Keller and Sebastian Saule highlighted Brandenburg’s advantageous location, robust infrastructure, and vibrant research environment. They expressed their hope for closer exchanges and deeper cooperation between enterprises from both sides, aiming to create a virtuous cycle of mutual benefit and shared success.
A total of 14 companies from Brandenburg, spanning the medical, electrical, and transportation industries, showcased their strengths and offerings. More than 50 one-on-one matchmaking sessions were organized for Chinese and German enterprises.
Prior to the conference, CCPIT Beijing met with the German delegation, during which both sides reached a consensus on enhancing exchange of visits and assisting enterprises in exploring each other’s markets.
