On the afternoon of October 21, a delegation led by Zhang Jianwei, Secretary of Party Leadership Group of CCPIT Beijing, visited BMW Group and met with Wu Yanyan, Vice President of the company. Zhu Jialiang, Vice Chairman of CCPIT Beijing, attended the meeting together with officials from both sides.
Wu Yanyan outlined BMW Group’s strategic deployment in China and its operations in Beijing, expressed her gratitude for the long-standing support from CCPIT Beijing, and affirmed that BMW would continue to fulfill its role as a member of the International Business Leaders Advisory Council for the Mayor of Beijing (IBLAC). She pledged full support for the initiatives of CCPIT Beijing and IBLAC, aiming to deepen strategic cooperation with Beijing-based enterprises and to drive the development of new-quality productive forces in the intelligent connected new-energy vehicle sector under “BMW standards”, thereby contributing to the realization of “China speed”.
Zhang Jianwei stated that BMW Group regards Beijing as a pivotal hub and strategic fulcrum, and plays an extensive role in advancing the city’s high-quality development across investment, technological innovation, and other dimensions. He affirmed that CCPIT Beijing would continue to capitalize on its strengths in connecting government and enterprises, linking domestic and international markets, and facilitating supply-demand matchmaking, thereby offering “concierge-style” services to align with enterprise needs and assisting BMW Group in expanding investment and achieving long-term growth in Beijing. He encouraged BMW Group to actively participate in major exhibitions such as the China International Fair for Trade in Services (CIFTIS) and the China Beijing International High-tech Expo (CHITEC), so as to seize opportunities arising from Beijing’s favorable business environment, fully leverage its own strengths, and achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.
