From September 16 to 18, a delegation of nearly 30 companies—including QuantaSing Group, Timeloit, and Emposat—participated in a series of trade and investment promotion activities in Nanning, Guangxi. The event was jointly organized by CCPIT Beijing and the Beijing Chamber of International Commerce (BCIC) to enhance collaboration between the trade promotion systems of Beijing and Guangxi. Building on the success of the 22nd China-ASEAN Expo and the China-ASEAN Business and Investment Summit, it also sought to help local enterprises deepen cooperation with ASEAN partners across key sectors such as industry, investment, and trade.
The 2025 China (Beijing & Guangxi)-Malaysia Trade and Investment Promotion Conference was co-sponsored by CCPIT Beijing and CCPIT Guangxi. The meeting was addressed by Zhang Jianwei, Secretary of the Party Leadership Group of CCPIT Beijing and President of BCIC; Yang Yanyan, Chairperson of CCPIT Guangxi; Wu Yiping, President of the Associated Chinese Chambers of Commerce and Industry of Malaysia (ACCCIM); and Lin Hengyi, President of the China-ASEAN (Malaysia) Entrepreneurs Association. Representatives from six business associations, including ACCCIM and MayCham China, as well as more than 30 foreign enterprises, also attended.
As a partner event of the 22nd China-ASEAN Business and Investment Summit organized by the China-ASEAN Business Council, the meeting was held under the theme "Sharing Opportunities for Cooperation, Building a Community of Shared Future for China and Malaysia". Discussions centered on artificial intelligence, international cooperation in industry and supply chains, agri-food, biopharmaceuticals, and green energy. The event also highlighted Beijing's first-class, market-oriented, law-based, and internationalized business environment, the trajectories of its green economy, and dynamics of China Beijing International High-tech Expo (CHITEC). BCIC and the China-ASEAN (Malaysia) Entrepreneurs Association signed an MoU on cooperation, aiming to broaden the channels for bilateral economic and trade cooperation. Prior to the event, AI-driven intelligent pairing was employed to align the business needs of Chinese and international enterprises. As a result, nine Beijing-based companies reached agreements on 10 prospective collaborations with enterprises from Malaysia and Guangxi, covering areas such as AI and technological applications.
The delegation also took part in the Roundtable Dialogue Between the Vietnamese Government and CEOs of Chinese Enterprises, as well as the China-ASEAN Business Leaders Forum. In addition, they visited the China-Singapore Nanning International Logistics Park, the China-ASEAN Specialty Commodities Center, Guangxi Beibu Gulf Investment Group's low-altitude economy division, and the 22nd China-ASEAN Expo.
The series of events greatly strengthened economic and trade linkages between Beijing, Guangxi, and Malaysia, injecting fresh momentum into the China-Malaysia community of shared future. Looking ahead, the three sides aim to leverage this promotional conference as a springboard to broaden the scope and elevate the level of cooperation, and jointly usher in a new era of China-Malaysia economic and trade partnership.
