2025-9-23 16:52:32

On September 18, CCPIT Beijing held a training session on international commercial certification in Beijing. The session aimed to help local cross-border traders better grasp the latest global trade rules, share in policy dividends, and strengthen their practical skills in international commercial certification services.

Invited experts from Beijing Customs and the CCPIT Beijing General Affairs Center delivered lectures on four topics: an in-depth interpretation of preferential rules of origin under the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP) and other agreements; the application process for certificates of origin through the international trade "single window" system; the ATA Carnet rules and knacks for their compliant and efficient use; as well as both theoretical and practical aspects of international commercial certification.

More than 100 representatives from sectors such as electronics, machinery manufacturing, medical devices, biopharmaceuticals, and logistics and trade attended the session. They noted that the training not only helped reduce documentation errors and expand international business opportunities, but also offered multi-dimensional, systematic insights into the latest trade rules. These insights empower enterprises to make effective use of preferential tariffs and strengthen their competitiveness in global markets.

From January to August 2025, CCPIT Beijing issued more than 27,000 commercial certificates, marking a 33.86% increase compared with the same period last year and reflecting significant business growth. Since the full implementation of the RCEP in 2022, CCPIT Beijing has issued over 2,000 RCEP certificates of origin, covering goods worth more than USD 140 million.
