On the afternoon of September 12, during the 2025 China International Fair for Trade in Services, the Beijing Daxing International Chamber of Commerce was officially launched at the Daxing International Economic and Trade Cooperation Meeting. The meeting was attended by senior officials from CCPIT, China-EU Association, CCPIT Beijing, Beijing Investment Promotion Bureau, and Daxing District Government; ambassadors and diplomatic envoys from Bolivia, Nicaragua, and Costa Rica; as well as representatives of foreign enterprises and international students.
Zhang Jianwei, Secretary of the Party Leadership Group of CCPIT Beijing and President of the Beijing Chamber of International Commerce (BCIC), delivered a speech at the meeting and, together with Chu Junwei, Party Secretary of Daxing District, unveiled the plaque signifying the establishment of the Daxing International Chamber of Commerce.
The Daxing International Chamber of Commerce is a social organization comprised of leading enterprises engaged in domestic and international trade, business exchanges, investment cooperation, and other commercial activities within the district. Following its establishment, the Chamber will align with Daxing's industrial development strategy, proactively connect with global resources, and provide practical support for the international expansion of local enterprises. Serving as a vital bridge between government and business, as well as among enterprises themselves, the Chamber aspires to become a key driving force behind regional economic growth.
At the meeting, the Chamber signed cooperation agreements with nine international economic and cultural promotion agencies and overseas business associations, including the Venezuelan Center of Studies on China, the Federación de la Diáspora China en Ecuador, the China-Argentina Exchange Center, and the Latin American Center for Chinese Political and Economic Studies. The Chamber will leverage its distinctive strengths in "connecting government and enterprises, linking domestic and international markets, and facilitating supply-demand matchmaking" to empower member enterprises to engage proactively in the global economy, thereby making a well-rounded contribution to the high-quality development of Beijing's economy.
