On the morning of September 5, a CCPIT Beijing delegation led by Secretary of Party Leadership Group Zhang Jianwei and Chairperson Li Xiangying visited Beijing Benz Automotive Co., Ltd. and met with Leng Yan, Executive Vice President of Mercedes-Benz Group China. CCPIT Beijing Vice Chairman Zhu Jialiang attended the meeting along with responsible persons from both sides.
Leng Yan outlined Mercedes-Benz's strategic layout in China and its operations in Beijing. He noted that the company has been firmly established in China for more than two decades, consistently viewing Beijing as the cornerstone of its growth in the country. He expressed his appreciation to CCPIT Beijing for its enduring support in the company's development in the capital and affirmed that Mercedes-Benz would continue to fulfill its role as a member of the International Business Leaders Advisory Council for the Mayor of Beijing (IBLAC), making meaningful contributions to the city's advancement.
Zhang Jianwei noted that Mercedes-Benz stands as a model of successful development among multinational enterprises in China. Its comprehensive localization strategy is closely aligned with Beijing's development needs, and the company has consistently contributed to the city's advanced manufacturing sector. As the IBLAC Secretariat, CCPIT Beijing will continue to provide strong support for Mercedes-Benz in expanding its R&D and business footprint in the capital. Zhang also expressed the hope that Mercedes-Benz would further deepen cooperation with local enterprises, harness global resources to share in Beijing's opportunities, offer valuable insights into urban development, and help craft a new chapter of win-win cooperation.
