On the morning of August 28, a CCPIT Beijing delegation led by Secretary of the Party Leadership Group Zhang Jianwei and Chairperson Li Xiangying visited HSBC, where they met with Wang Haihong, Vice President of HSBC Bank (China) Co., Ltd. CCPIT Beijing Vice Chairman Zhu Jialiang also attended the meeting along with relevant officials from both sides.
Wang Haihong provided an overview of HSBC's development in Beijing and across China, and expressed her gratitude for the long-standing support of CCPIT Beijing. She noted that HSBC, as a member of the International Business Leaders Advisory Council for the Mayor of Beijing, would continue to actively introduce premier British enterprises to invest in China, thereby contributing to Beijing's investment promotion efforts and high-quality economic development.
Zhang Jianwei expressed high appreciation for HSBC's long-standing contributions to Beijing's socioeconomic development. He emphasized that CCPIT Beijing would continue to support HSBC in expanding investment and driving business innovation in the city. He hoped that both sides would jointly play a bridging role to promote two-way investment and cooperation. By effectively integrating resources, CCPIT Beijing and HSBC can help Beijing enterprises "go global" while assisting British companies in establishing a presence in the city.
