On August 8, the launch ceremony of a campaign series targeting 10,000 cross-border traders from 100 cities was successfully held in Beijing. The event was sponsored by China Construction Bank and hosted by its Beijing branch, with CCPIT Beijing serving as a supporting entity. Leaders from the Ministry of Commerce, the State Administration of Foreign Exchange, and the China E-port Data Center, and China Export & Credit Insurance Corporation, along with representatives from nearly 100 Beijing-based cross-border traders, attended.
The campaign series will commence in Beijing and expand to 100 key import- and export-oriented cities across China, introducing "Five Perspectives and 10 Strategies" to over 10,000 cross-border traders.
Zhu Jialiang, Vice Chairman of CCPIT Beijing and Vice President & Secretary General of the Beijing Chamber of International Commerce (BCIC), delivered a speech at the event. He noted that stabilizing cross-border trade requires helping enterprises consolidate existing markets while exploring new opportunities. Staying true to its mission of "serving enterprises," CCPIT Beijing leverages its unique position to connect government and enterprises, bridge domestic and international markets, and facilitate supply-demand matchmaking. From five dimensions, CCPIT Beijing works to safeguard and advance enterprises: 1) promoting bank-enterprise matchmaking to strengthen financial empowerment; 2) refining policies and building cross-border trader alliances; 3) broadening market reach through international communication channels; 4) streamlining commercial certification for smoother clearance; and 5) enhancing alert mechanisms to safeguard enterprises.
Since the beginning of this year, CCPIT Beijing and BCIC have resolutely implemented the directives of the State Council and Beijing Municipal Government regarding stabilizing international trade and foreign investment by intensifying service provision for cross-border traders. They have issued the “Action Plan for Supporting Private Enterprises in Overseas Market Expansion,” collaborated with the Beijing High People's Court to release the “Opinions on Establishing Mechanisms for Coordinating Online Mediation and Litigation over Commercial Disputes,” and published the “Compliance Guidelines for International Operations of Beijing-based Enterprises.” These efforts help enterprises navigate complexities and safeguard their legitimate rights and interests. The establishment of the Specialized Committee for Outbound Services also serves to actively promote cooperation between State-owned and private enterprises, significantly enhancing the overall competitiveness of Beijing's private sector in overseas markets.
Moving forward, CCPIT Beijing and BCIC will roll out a number of measures to provide enterprises across society with high-quality, convenient, efficient services, advancing Beijing's export-oriented economy towards a higher level of openness and contributing to the establishment of a new development paradigm.
