On May 22, Zhu Jialiang, Vice Chairman of CCPIT Beijing and Vice President & Secretary General of the Beijing Chamber of International Commerce (BCIC), received a delegation led by Yuen Wai-yin, Deputy Director of the Hong Kong Office in Beijing. The two sides held in-depth discussions on establishing a mechanism for routine communication, enhancing collaboration on brand events, and supporting the international development of enterprises. Relevant department heads from both sides attended the meeting.
Yuen Wai-yin outlined the primary functions and services of the Hong Kong Office in Beijing, as well as its current efforts in promoting economic and trade activities in Beijing. She expressed a willingness to strengthen cooperation with CCPIT Beijing in expanding networks in BRI countries and regions, helping enterprises from both sides navigate the evolving international landscape, and exploring new avenues for international development and partnerships.
Zhu Jialiang noted that CCPIT Beijing and BCIC serves as a key ribbon connecting the international business community. With extensive global networks, rich MICE resources, and a comprehensive trade promotion system, CCPIT Beijing and the Hong Kong Office share a common mission in advancing international trade and investment and supporting business growth. He expressed his hope that the two sides can establish a mechanism for routine communication to leverage each other's strengths in information, networks, and platforms, thereby exploring broader cooperation in organizing conferences and exhibitions, supporting enterprises' overseas expansion, and boosting the growth of BCIC.
