In order to further deepen and expand Beijing-Inner Mongolia cooperation, from May 25 to 27, CCPIT Beijing and the Beijing Chamber of International Commerce (BCIC) organized a group visit to Wuhai City in the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. The group included members from 34 companies such as CCCC Fourth Highway Engineering Co., Ltd., Xinjiang Goldwind Science and Technology Co., Ltd., COL Digital Publishing Group Co., Ltd., and Haokun Energy Group Co., Ltd. The event featured industrial site visits, symposium, and group networking sessions. It centered on four key industry chains—BDO, solid-state batteries, coal coking, and silicon-based new materials—as well as the cultural tourism sector. The delegation conducted on-site inspections of industrial enterprises and cultural tourism initiatives in Wuhai, talking face-to-face with delegates from three industrial parks and 29 local enterprises. Preliminary cooperation agreements were reached on 15 projects, covering areas such as intelligent manufacturing and smart wastewater treatment.
Zhou Jinxing, Party Chief of Wuhai, extended a warm welcome to the delegation and met with the corporate representatives. Cui Jingying, Mayor of Wuhai, attended a symposium with the visiting BCIC member enterprises. She stated that Wuhai, guided by the decisions of the CPC Central Committee and the directives of the autonomous regional government, is leveraging its premium resources and industrial foundation to actively integrate into the broader framework of Beijing-Inner Mongolia cooperation, and striving to transform itself from a resource-based city. She acknowledged that the visiting enterprises' business operations closely align with Wuhai's needs for industrial transformation, upgrading, and restructuring. She expressed her hope to establish a mechanism for routine communication and collaboration with CCPIT Beijing to jointly promote higher-level, broader, and deeper cooperation. Wuhai will strive to precisely understand corporate needs, provide attentive services, and create an optimal environment for investment and entrepreneurship.
Zhang Jianwei, Secretary of the Party Leadership Group of CCPIT Beijing and BCIC President, expressed his gratitude to the Wuhai government for their hospitality and thoughtful arrangements. He noted that the Wuhai visit was a major step not only for the cooperation between Beijing and Inner Mongolia but also for the in-depth integration of regional industry chains. He pledged that CCPIT Beijing and BCIC would continue to serve as an important platform for resource sharing between enterprises from both sides, particularly in green energy, new materials, cultural tourism, eco-economy, cross-border trade, and logistics. He looks forward to more frequent exchanges, expanded areas of cooperation, and deepened two-way investment and trade, so that these enterprises can jointly explore international markets and contribute significantly to the national strategy of coordinated regional development.
The delegation conducted field inspections at companies including Qingtao Energy, Junzheng Group, Guangju New Materials, and Yongtai Chemical, and learned about the developments of local cultural tourism sectors. They also held group-based industrial matchmaking sessions with relevant government agencies and enterprises in Wuhai, creating opportunities and building platforms for targeted business cooperation.
Yan Shuang, Standing Committee Member and Head of the United Front Work Department of the CPC Wuhai Municipal Committee, Gao Bo, Vice Mayor of Wuhai, and Zhu Jialiang, Vice Chairman of CCPIT Beijing and Vice President & Secretary General of BCIC, participated in the inspections and exchanges along with other representatives from the trade promotion councils of Beijing and Wuhai.
