CCPIT Beijing Conducts First Aid Training, Encouraging Staff to Become "Guardians of Life"

2025-3-25 13:06:37

On the morning of March 14, the CCPIT Beijing General Affairs Center organized a first aid training session conducted by Chen Zhi, Director of Beijing Emergency Medical Center's Training Center. As a national expert in emergency medical services and a science population specialist recognized by the National Health Commission, Chen Zhi adopted a dual-track teaching model that combines theoretical knowledge and practical operations. The session covered first aid skills such as cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), trauma care, the Heimlich maneuver, and the use of automated external defibrillators (AEDs), aiming to boost the emergency response capabilities of the staff at CCPIT Beijing.

Starting with the principle, "time is life", Chen Zhi provided a systematic explanation of first aid basics, operational procedures, and precautions. The session focused on CPR techniques and included step-by-step demonstrations of AED usage and the Heimlich maneuver in everyday situations, underscoring the "golden four minutes" in life-saving efforts.

After covering the theoretical aspects, Chen Zhi led the staff through hands-on CPR simulations. He provided guidance on refining compression techniques, mastering the rhythm of artificial respiration, and executing AED operations. Participants engaged in repeated practice on human mannequins, thus learning the knack for coordinating force and speed during first aid and effectively bridging the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical skills.

The training markedly boosted participants' safety consciousness as well as their self-rescue and mutual aid abilities. Moving forward, CCPIT Beijing will continue offering such training to improve staff capabilities and protect their health.
