On the afternoon of March 17, a CCPIT Beijing delegation led by Zhang Jianwei, Secretary of the Party Leadership Group, visited Veolia (China) Environmental Services Co., Ltd. and met with Huang Xiaojun, Senior Vice President of Veolia and General representative of Veolia China. Vice Chairman Zhu Jialiang of CCPIT Beijing, along with relevant department heads from both sides, attended the meeting.
Huang Xiaojun provided an overview of Veolia's history in Beijing as well as its status quo in water services, waste disposal, and energy management. He thanked CCPIT Beijing (Secretariat of the International Business Leaders Advisory Council for the Mayor of Beijing (IBLAC)) for facilitating high-level exchanges and supporting enterprises’ development in Beijing, and pledged to leverage its role as an IBLAC advisory body to actively contribute to Beijing's development.
Zhang Jianwei stated that CCPIT Beijing would deepen its cooperation and exchanges with IBLAC advisory bodies to align with their needs while enhancing its service consciousness, capabilities, and standards under the IBLAC framework. In particular, CCPIT Beijing is committed to serving as a steward for Veolia's local operations. He hopes that Veolia will continue to participate in the China Beijing International High-tech Expo (CHITEC) and introduce Beijing's favorable policies and business environment to companies in France and Europe as a whole, as well as partners along the environmental industry chain. These efforts will help Veolia build a "beautiful Beijing" and further expand its presence in the city.
