On the morning of March 11, a CCPIT Beijing delegation led by Zhang Jianwei, Secretary of the Party Leadership Group, visited Sanofi (China) Investment Co., Ltd. and met with Zhu Hailuan, the Vice President of Sanofi China. Vice Chairman Zhu Jialiang of CCPIT Beijing and the heads of relevant departments attended the meeting.
Zhu Hailuan presented an overview of Sanofi's history in Beijing as well as its business, R&D, and production strategies. He thanked CCPIT Beijing (Secretariat of the International Business Leaders Advisory Council for the Mayor of Beijing (IBLAC)) for its care and support for Sanofi's insulin active pharmaceutical ingredient project, and pledged to leverage its role as an IBLAC advisory body to actively contribute to Beijing's development.
Zhang Jianwei stated that CCPIT Beijing would deepen its cooperation and exchanges with IBLAC advisory bodies under the IBLAC framework, to enhance its service consciousness and capabilities. In particular, CCPIT Beijing is committed to serving as a steward for Sanofi and its local projects. He hopes that Sanofi will continue to participate in the China Beijing International High-tech Expo (CHITEC), fully utilizing Beijing's favorable policies and business environment to expand its operations in the city. He also expects Sanofi to proactively introduce Beijing to companies in France and Europe as a whole, as well as partners along the biopharmaceutical industry chain, thereby attracting foreign businesses and investors to the city.
