On the morning of March 25, Li Xiangying, Chairperson of CCPIT Beijing, met with a delegation led by Vice President Selina Jackson of Global Government Relations and Public Policy for Procter & Gamble (P&G). Vice Chairman Zhu Jialiang of CCPIT Beijing, Vice President Guo Zhihong of Public Policy for P&G Greater China, and department heads from both sides also attended the meeting.
Li Xiangying stated that as the Secretariat of the International Business Leaders Advisory Council for the Mayor of Beijing (IBLAC) and the "steward" for IBLAC's advisory bodies, CCPIT Beijing will continue to provide high-quality services to support P&G's development in the city. She expressed her hope that P&G will engage more deeply in the construction of Beijing as an international consumption center city and an international center for technological innovation, which in turn will contribute to the upgrade of the P&G Beijing Innovation Center.
Selina Jackson highly praised Beijing's achievements in improving the business environment as well as the services it provided to businesses. She expressed gratitude for the significant support that CCPIT Beijing extended to P&G's development in Beijing and the whole China. She also reaffirmed P&G's commitment to focusing on the Chinese market and expanding its R&D presence in Beijing.
