On February 21, Zhang Jianwei, Secretary of the Party Leadership Group, and Li Xingying, Chairperson of CCPIT Beijing, led a delegation to visit MUFG Bank and P&G, and had exchanges with Masui Ken, Vice Chairman of MUFG Bank (China), and Guo Zhihong, Vice President of P&G China, respectively. Prior to these visits, Li Xiangying also met with a delegation led by Zhou Xing, Managing Partner in charge of public affairs of PwC China.
During the meetings, representatives of the members of International Business Leaders Advisory Council for the Mayor of Beijing (IBLAC) introduced their companies’ development history, key businesses and related demands in Beijing. They expressed appreciation to CCPIT Beijing and the IBLAC Secretariat for facilitating direct communication with the high-level leadership. Additionally, they suggested further enhancements to IBLAC’s organizational structure and reaffirmed their commitment to deepening engagement and cooperation within the IBLAC framework. They firmly believe in the potential of the Chinese market and will take root in Beijing for long-term development.
Li Xiangying underscored CCPIT Beijing’s commitment to serving enterprises, highlighting its role in “connecting government and enterprises, bridging domestic and international markets, and facilitating supply-demand matchmaking”. It will maintain close collaboration with foreign-funded enterprises represented by IBLAC members, and support their expansion and development in Beijing.
Zhang Jianwei said that CCPIT Beijing would further refine its working mechanism, diversify the forms of activities, and adopt a demand-driven, results-oriented approach. He emphasized the need to enhance the IBLAC Secretariat’s awareness, capacities, and service effectiveness, and maintain close contact and cooperation with IBLAC members, to continuously facilitate their growth in Beijing.
The visit was also joined by Liu Yang, First-level Inspector of CCPIT Beijing, along with officials from relevant departments of both sides.
