To better support private enterprises in their international expansion, a symposium and exchange meeting was held on February 13 by the CCPIT Beijing, the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Economy and Information Technology, and the Beijing Federation of Industry & Commerce. The 2025 General Assembly of the Overseas Expansion Services Committee of the Beijing Chamber of International Commerce (BCIC) was also held. The event was attended by Chairperson Li Xiangying and Vice Chairman Zhu Jialiang of CCPIT Beijing, Vice Chairman Li Zhenkun of the Beijing Federation of Industry & Commerce, You Jing, Head of the Foreign Exchange Division at the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Economy and Information Technology, along with key members of the BCIC and over 60 business representatives.
The BCIC Overseas Expansion Services Committee introduced its organizational structure, management guidelines, and annual work plans. The Beijing Municipal Bureau of Economy and Information Technology and the Beijing Federation of Industry & Commerce also explained their latest policies for supporting enterprises’ international expansion. In addition, representatives from companies such as Jangho Group, Glodon, and 4Paradigm shared their development strategies and experiences, as well as their approaches for tapping into overseas markets. The companies expressed their commitment to fully leveraging Beijing's innovation resources and policy advantages to actively engage in global industrial collaboration, seize new opportunities, and position themselves at the forefront of the global supply chain to achieve even greater development.
Li Xiangying emphasized that private enterprises are a vital pillar of the capital's economic development. In 2024, the import and export volume of private enterprises in Beijing reached RMB 435.28 billion, marking an 11.9% increase and accounting for 12.1% of the city's total foreign trade. Moving forward, CCPIT Beijing will work closely with municipal and district government departments, as well as members of the BCIC Overseas Expansion Services Committee, to integrate services for the international expansion of private enterprises into the broader context of opening up and high-quality development. The goal is to pool resources from all sectors to create a collective effort for Beijing-based enterprises to expand globally. Additionally, CCPIT Beijing will provide enterprises with richer information on overseas markets and services in finance, law, and accounting, effectively building a high-quality platform for private enterprises to go global.
