On September 26, a CCPIT Beijing delegation led by Chairman Li Xiangying visited Pinggu District to conduct a survey on “Deepening Reform in Trade Promotion and Strengthening Municipality-District Coordination”. During the visit, Li compared notes with Pinggu District Governor Di Tao and together they inaugurated CCPIT Pinggu.
At the meeting, Di Tao expressed his gratitude for the CCPIT Beijing’s attention and support towards Pinggu. He noted that the establishment of CCPIT Pinggu is opportune as the district is rapidly developing into an agricultural Zhongguancun and a logistics hub for the capital city. He hopes that under the guidance of CCPIT Beijing, CCPIT Pinggu will focus on enhancing agricultural openness and cooperation, utilizing the Beijing-Pinggu Comprehensive Logistics Hub for international engagement, and making the most of the Jinhai Lake International Convention & Exhibition Center.
Li Xiangying highly commended the high-quality development of Pinggu. She views CCPIT Pinggu as a valuable enhancement to Beijing’s trade promotion efforts and hopes that the district will encourage high-quality enterprises to join the Beijing Chamber of International Commerce, thereby improving the effectiveness of business services. Moving forward, CCPIT Beijing will align its initiatives with the developmental needs of Pinggu, leveraging its international and specialized resources to deepen cooperation with the district in organizing conferences, exhibitions, group visits, and trade negotiations, thereby supporting Pinggu’s high-level openness.
During the visit, the CCPIT Beijing delegation toured the Beijing-Pinggu Comprehensive Logistics Hub, the national backbone cold chain logistics base in Pinggu, and the Guononggang marketing and rural live-streaming industry park. Ma Dongmei, Vice Governor of Pinggu District, and Zhu Jialiang, Vice Chairman of CCPIT Beijing, participated in the survey along with the heads of relevant departments.
