On August 16, Guo Huaigang, chairman of CCPIT Beijing, received a visit from Li Xiaofeng, chairman of CCPIT Changzhi in Shanxi Province. The two sides discussed strategies for enhancing their trade promotion cooperation. The meeting was also attended by Zhu Jialiang, vice chairman of CCPIT Beijing, Xing Huaizhong, head of the Beijing-based Changzhi team from the Beijing-Changzhi Partnership Task Force, and leaders from relevant departments of both CCPIT sub-councils.
Li Xiaofeng introduced the progress of the Beijing-Changzhi partnership as well as the basics of Changzhi's key foreign trade enterprises and the local CCPIT sub-council. He expressed a desire to strengthen communication with CCPIT Beijing to facilitate resource sharing and pragmatic cooperation.
Guo Huaigang outlined the efforts of CCPIT Beijing in implementing key tasks from the CPC Beijing Municipal Committee and the municipal government, promoting the construction of the capital as a center for international exchanges, and facilitating the development of Beijing's foreign trade enterprises. He also committed to making CCPIT Beijing's international MICE, liaison, and economic and trade training platforms accessible to CCPIT Changzhi. He expressed hope that both sides would align with the national CCPIT strategy and focus on the key points of the Beijing-Changzhi partnership to proactively enhance cooperation and promote Changzhi's high-level openness.
