On July 30, the Beijing-Singapore Economic and Trade Cooperation Exchange and Promotion Conference was successfully hosted in Beijing by CCPIT Beijing and Beijing Chamber of International Commerce, with Beijing Association for Trade in Services as the organizer. The conference was attended by over 100 participants, including heads of economic and trade institutions and business associations, entrepreneurs, experts, and media representatives from both Beijing and Singapore. Zhu Jialiang, Member of the Party Leadership Group and Vice Chairman of CCPIT Beijing, as well as Vice President and Secretary General of Beijing Chamber of International Commerce, addressed the conference.
Zhu Jialiang pointed out that under the all-round high-quality and future-oriented partnership between China and Singapore, China-Singapore economic and trade cooperation is an important driving force for the mutual development. He noted the strong resilience and vitality based on the solid foundation of Beijing-Singapore economic and trade cooperation, and highlighted the conference’s role in deepening cooperation in trade in services, scientific and technological innovation, digital economy, and green finance to achieve mutual benefits and growth.
The conference provided a macro interpretation of the business and tax policies relevant to Chinese companies entering the Singapore market, and explored future cooperation prospects and opportunities between China and Singapore across various fields. Notable companies, including Besteasy (Beijing) Language Technology Co., Ltd., Zhong Lun Law Firm, Cainiao Group, Glodon Company Limited, and Topsec Technology Group, engaged in discussions about new cooperation models and growth points, to broaden the scope of Beijing-Singapore collaboration.
