CCPIT Chairman Met with Sri Lankan Ambassador to China

On the afternoon of July 15, CCIPT Beijing Chairman Guo Huaigang met with Sri Lanka Ambassador to China Mr. Majintha Jayesinghe during the 26th China Beijing International High-tech Expo (CHITEC). The two had friendly exchanges on further strengthening bilateral cooperation.

Guo Huaigang expressed his appreciation for Ambassador Majintha Jayesinghe’s visit to CHITEC and introduced CCPIT Beijing’s five core businesses: international trade and investment promotion, international commercial legal services, international MICE promotion, international multilateral and bilateral cooperation in industry and commerce, and international economic and trade application-oriented think tanks. He highlighted the close communication and collaboration with the Embassy of Sri Lanka in China, hoping to exploit the resource potential and complementary advantages through mutual visits, exhibitions, and information exchanges, so as to inject new impetus into the joint high-quality development of “Belt and Road Initiative” by China and Sri Lanka.

Ambassador Majintha Jayesinghe congratulated and highly recognized the successful opening of CHITEC, and praised the efforts of CCPIT Beijing to foster exchanges among industrial and commercial communities in China and Sri Lanka. He hoped that both sides would utilize their respective platforms, expand exchanges and interactions in various fields, including digital economy, cultural tourism, and biomedicine, thereby contributing to the enhanced two-way economic and trade cooperation.
