On the morning of May 14, Guo Huaigang, Chairman of CCPIT Beijing, met with Ed Allison-Wright, Chairman of the Executive Committee of the World Trade Centers Association (WTCA). The two had friendly exchanges on further strengthening their cooperation.
Guo Huaigang introduced the five core businesses of CCPIT Beijing and noted the strong cooperative relationship between CCPIT Beijing and WTCA. He expressed hope to enhance matchmaking between China and the United States in high technologies, park co-construction, cultural tourism, and brand exchanges through mutual visits of delegations, MICE exchanges, and information sharing. He aimed to tap the potential of complementary advantages and pursue win-win cooperation. He also invited WTCA to organize enterprises to participate in economic and trade activities such as the China Beijing International High-Tech Expo.
Ed Allison-Wright said that WTCA has more than 300 members in the United States and globally, and has established a working framework that integrates facilities, services, brands, and networks. He thanked CCPIT Beijing for promoting pragmatic economic and trade cooperation between China and the United States over the years, and expressed hope that both sides would continue to leverage their respective advantages to promote multilateral and bilateral economic and trade cooperation.
Liu Yihong, Director of the Changping Investment Promotion Service Center, attended the meeting and exchanged views with WTCA on enhancing cooperation in green energy, manufacturing, and biomedicine.
